In these Terms, "Service" refers to the watch repair services offered by Escapement Studio. "User", "you", and "your" refer to any person using this website or engaging our services. "We", "us", and "our" refer to Escapement Studio. "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy.

By using this website or submitting a request through our contact form, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.

Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 or older who have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

3. Service Description

Escapement Studio provides watch repair services, including strap and bracelet fitting, water-resistance inspection and reseal, and dial and hand refinishing coordination, at our studio located in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Services are provided in person at our physical location. Availability may vary based on appointment scheduling and the nature of the piece being brought in.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate contact information when submitting an enquiry and to use this website only for lawful purposes related to genuine interest in our services.

You agree not to misuse the contact form, submit false information, or attempt to interfere with the normal operation of this website.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and design elements, is owned by or licensed to Escapement Studio and may not be reproduced without permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

6. Pricing and Payment

Prices for services are displayed on our Solutions page in Thai Baht (฿) and are shared with you before any work begins. Final pricing may vary depending on the specific condition of your piece and is confirmed in person prior to service.

Payment is arranged directly at the studio at the time of service. Refunds, where applicable, are handled on a case-by-case basis and discussed with you directly.

7. Service-Specific Terms

For dial and hand refinishing, work is coordinated with third-party specialist partners. Timelines for this service depend on partner availability and are communicated once known. Owner approval is sought before this work proceeds.

For water-resistance inspection, results are dependent on the condition and design of each case, and a written summary of findings and any limitations is provided to the owner.

8. Disclaimers

Services are provided based on the professional assessment of our staff. While care is taken at every stage, no specific outcome can be assured for repair or refinishing work on older or previously damaged pieces, given the nature of mechanical watches.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Escapement Studio's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold Escapement Studio harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of this website or false information provided in connection with our services.

11. Termination

Either party may discontinue an arrangement for service at any point prior to work beginning. Sections relating to liability, intellectual property, and dispute resolution survive any termination.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through informal discussion between the parties.

If a resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai, Thailand.

13. General Provisions

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Escapement Studio regarding use of this website. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
